During our recent fundraising, supported by Eurazeo, a renowned French investment fund, and through the issuance of our “sustainability-linked bond” with Zencap Asset Management, we made a strong commitment to sustainability. By aligning our financing with our sustainability performance, we reaffirm our commitment to providing our clients with local, sovereign, and responsible colocation services.
Since Etix’s inception over ten years ago, we have been committed to ecological transition by innovating in the design of our data centers. We have adopted cutting-edge solutions, including ultra-low water consumption cooling systems (with a WUE below 0.01 L) and free-cooling technologies. Our commitment also extends to the refurbishment of existing buildings and the use of advanced technologies. By joining the Climate Neutral Data Center Pact in 2021, we have aligned with industry leaders dedicated to decarbonizing our sector by 2030, showcasing our ambition to become a pioneer in the sector’s decarbonization.
Our carbon footprint is not our only concern. As a company, we are also committed to fighting inequality and ensuring that no one is left behind. That’s why, in our commitments with Eurazeo, we have set key objectives related to social and governance criteria. These goals ensure that, together with our partners, we manage the company in a way that is not only environmentally sustainable but also socially equitable and governed with integrity.

Etix Everywhere’s commitment to sustainability is deeply embedded in our core strategy. As part of our dedication to responsible and sovereign colocation services, we are working closely with Eurazeo and Zencap Asset Management to align our financing with our sustainability performance. Sustainability is not merely a target for us; it is central to how we operate and grow.
Among the criteria set by Eurazeo, Etix Everywhere must meet at least 10 “O+” criteria by the end of 2025 and achieve a “Silver” level. By 2028, we must reach the “Gold” level by meeting at least 12 ESG criteria. Here are some of the required criteria :

Reducing Our Environmental Footprint
Cutting Energy Consumption : Etix Everywhere’s Leading Approach to Reducing Our Top Emission Source
Energy is our primary emission source, accounting for 42% of our total emissions when combining Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions related to energy. Today, data centers consume 2% of the world’s total electricity, and forecasts suggest this will rise to 8% by 2030. As a major player in the industry, we must proactively reduce our energy consumption and find sustainable ways to power our facilities. The most sustainable energy is the energy we don’t consume. Etix Everywhere already boasts the best Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) ratios in each of our regions and continues to actively work to improve them. With a PUE target of 1.3 at 70% IT load, we are dedicated to creating the most efficient installations possible.

Our Vision
Embracing the 4Rs for Sustainable Growth
Reduce : Energy is our primary emission source, representing 42% of our total emissions, with data centers expected to increase their electricity consumption from 2% to 8% of the global total by 2030. Etix Everywhere is committed to minimizing this impact by achieving 75% green electricity by 2025 and 100% by 2030, installing over 6,000 square meters of solar panels, and implementing advanced cooling and energy management technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce consumption.
Recycle : Effective waste management is crucial to our sustainability efforts. In 2024, we will implement a comprehensive waste management policy aimed at recycling and valorizing 100% of our electronic waste. We also support our IT customers in recycling their critical infrastructure, ensuring that valuable resources are recovered and reused.
“>Renew : To further reduce our carbon footprint, we prioritize refurbishing existing buildings over new construction, as demonstrated by our recent projects in France where we repurposed and renovated structures to optimize land use. Additionally, since 2020, Etix Everywhere has offset 800 tons of CO2eq annually through forestation projects with Stock CO2, contributing to carbon neutrality by planting over 45,000 trees in French forests, which are crucial for biodiversity, carbon sequestration, and oxygen supply.
“>Reuse : We are dedicated to reusing the heat generated by IT servers. Currently, we recycle the heat emitted by our clients’ servers at some of our sites and aim to extend this practice across all our data centers. This initiative not only improves energy efficiency but also benefits local communities by providing them with recovered heat.
