For over 10 years, since our first investment in Europe, we have deeply believed that regional data centers will be a key element of tomorrow’s world. Driven by this vision, Thomas Hombert as General Manager, Pierre Patris as CEO Asia, and I partnered with GC to acquire ETIX Everywhere in 2019, cementing our determination to develop a regional edge data center park.
I am pleased to see that ETIX has become a pan-European edge data center platform, currently operating a total of 15 sites with leading positions in France. Since its inception in 2012, ETIX has grown to become one of the top players in European edge data centers and a strong challenger in Southeast Asia, showing consistent growth and expansion through both organic growth and a series of acquisitions in recent years.
After three years, we have taken ETIX to new heights by securing funding from two leading European funds, a strategic step to strengthen our leading position in the regional French market and accelerate our expansion in Europe and Southeast Asia. Our goal is to double our portfolio of data centers within the next three years.
Additionally, Eurazeo and Infranity share our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR), which aligns perfectly with our desire to host our clients’ data in environmentally friendly and sustainable data centers.

Infranity’s acquisition of GDC’s shares in Etix Capital
The year 2023 notably saw the acquisition in September of 5 new data centers previously owned by the American company Databank. These additions enhance Etix Everywhere’s national coverage, with three located in Paris, one in Toulouse, and the last in Montpellier. They enable us to increase our hosting capacity by 44% and onboard 18 new talents.

Etix Everywhere, a Challenger in the Southeast Asia Data Center Market
With an annual growth rate exceeding 40%, ETIX BKK#1 has solidified its position as a frontrunner in the industry. This exceptional growth is driven by robust technical offerings, renowned certifications, and a prestigious client base that includes banks, international Over-the-Top (OTT) providers, and cloud service providers. Additionally, ETIX BKK#1’s innovative pricing model and diversified telecom ecosystem have enabled customers to achieve cost reductions of over 25% compared to traditional data centers.
To accommodate this rapid expansion, ETIX has invested 450 million Baht in 2023 to deliver a brand-new module with 400 racks and 1,500 kW of IT capacity, officially released in March already filled.
